DSI Step&Stop drills have been specifically designed for seamless and accurate drilling and are built with each drill leading the following drill. These drills boast a shape and dimension that exactly matches the geometry of an implant, ensuring the highest level of accuracy. What's more, each drill is outfitted with an integral stopper plus perfect balance and optimized cutting edge featuring Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) coating. This provides superior performance in every drilling application. DSI Step&Stop drills adjust the socket to reduce the pressure on the implant neck and increase the stability in a deeper area of the socket. The drilling protocol is shorter with these drills allowing faster implant installation.
DSI Step&Stop drills work smoothly, with minimal heat generation. The vibration levels are significantly reduced compared to any standard drill. Less temperature increases the drill's lifespan and lowers bone heating, and as a result- no bone necrosis peril occurs. All of that gives better stability for implant immediate loading and lesser risk for abruption.
Product Details
The DSI Step&Stop drills provide a remarkable advantage when it comes to immediate loading, biocompatibility, and optimal osseointegration. This type of drilling sequence makes bone-to-implant contact stronger while consuming less bone and incurring less trauma. Furthermore, it encourages earlier bone apposition and gives considerable stability during the initial weeks after placement. All of these factors are essential for a successful healing process without any abruption.
DSI Step&Stop drills are 100% compatible with any DSI implants and most of the platforms available on the market such as Alpha-Bio, A.B, ZIMMER, Adin, Cortex, Implant Direct, MIS, and more. All the drills, including the box, are intended for reuse and could be sterilized in the autoclave. Best for dentists who are not yet very experienced in implantology and for large clinics that have a lot of differently experienced dentists, which are not all specialists in implantology. Also, they are great for clinics that work with insurance companies and must use all necessary precautions, and work "by the book".
The drills come in a special plastic polymer box with rigid rubber inserts and it is autoclavable at a temperature of 134° C.
